CHVFD is a fully volunteer fire department with a station located at 837 Cundys Harbor Road, operating one fire engine with a 1,500 gpm pump and 1,000 gallon water tank, one pumper/tanker with a 1,250 gpm pump and 2,000 gallon water tank, one ALS ambulance, and one squad truck carrying portable fire and rescue equipment. For structure fire responses engines and tankers also respond from the Orr’s Island and Harpswell Neck Fire Stations automatically.
